JASPER COLLECTION

Of all Britains native pebbles I find JASPER the most facinating and alluring. It's an opaque CHALCEDONY (SiO2) and is generally red, but yellow, brown, green and grey-blue varieties also occur.
Basically it is SILICIFIED CLAY. I have found JASPER at every locality I have prospected. Most of my collection comes from the Enfield area...
